Upcoming Workshops: (All FREE)

June 12th, 10am, Charlotte Mason Workshop. This is the workshop Kelda gave at the CHEF of LA convention in April. An introduction and overview of Charlotte Mason’s educational philosophy and how it can be used and implemented in our homeschooling.

July 17th, 10am, We will have our quarterly Homeschooling 101 workshop. This is a free workshop for anyone who is interested in homeschooling or who is new to homeschooling. RSVP 330.2356.

August 7, 10am, Homeschooling with Toddlers. Homeschooling with toddlers can be a challenge, OR you may be wondering what to do with your younger ones before beginning “formal” curriculum. Lots of neat ideas based on Montessori Method and other child-friendly philosophies.

Summer Activities:

Science Fun TH June 3, 10, 17, 24 1-2pm for ages 5-9; 2-3 for ages 10+. Fun experiments and activities. $20 for 4 sessions.
Will repeat TH July 1, 8, 15, and 22 if more spaces are needed.

Knot Tying TU-TH June 29-July 1. 1-2pm for ages 5-9; 2-3 for ages 10+. Learn to tie various knots. $15 for 3 sessions.
Will repeat July 27-29.

Upcoming Events:

MONTHLY Science Days beginning in September! Centers, Themes, Activities centered around science. Happening the first TU of the month for ages 10+ and the first TH of the month for ages 5-9. Hands-on, possibly messy, and FUN!
September: Paragraph Writing, Heritages Studies, and Professional Writing
October: Louisiana Lapbook and Bread Baking November: Essay Writing

Ballet Cinderella DANCEcamps June

In June, The Ballet Studio in Milton will hold Cinderella DANCEcamps. DANCEcamps are a fun way to learn more about the art of ballet and what makes a healthy dancer. The Ballet Studio will hold three different levels of Cinderella DANCEcamp. All DANCEcamps begin with a daily ballet class followed by fun and educational Cinderella DANCEcamp activities. They are age-appropriate and include lessons in music, dance history, nutrition, anatomy and pantomime.

Plus, all students go home with their very own Cinderella DANCEcamp Memories Scrapbook that they created. Come join the fun!

Cinderella DANCEcamps:
3 & 4 Year Olds
(must be potty trained)
June 7-11, 9:30-11:20 $85.00

5 & 6 Years Olds
(must have completed kindergarten or 1st grade)
June 14-18, 9:00-12:00 $120.00

7 – 11 Year Olds
(open to dancers that have completed 2nd-6thgrade)
June 7-11, 1:00-4:30 $140.00
