If you don’t mind setting aside a little box or bag marked for Girl Scouts to toss these items in from time to time, we will be happy to take these items off your hands.

Girl Scout Troops 2625 and 2746 are raising money for a trip to London, England and Paris, France in December 2010 to visit one of the 5 international Girl Scout centers. We need the Community’s support in making this trip a dream come true for all participants.

Cost: $10.00 per child (pay upon arrival)
Ages: 12 and up
Exception: A younger child will be allowed if he/she is really interested or passionate in American Government/History and can sit still for long periods of time.
Dress Code: Teen Pact attire:
Boys- slacks, dress shirt,tie
Girls- dress/skirt (below the knee) or business slacks
Food: Bring a sack lunch

Our free boxes are FULL! It’s like searching for treasure! There are older Abeka readers, new Abeka, some Saxon math texts. There are books that homeschoolers did not want to resell, and asked that we pass them along. Please come and check it out!
There are still some spaces availabe in the Wednesday Art Classes with Mrs. Kate.

A home school mom at FBC Lafayette has information regarding Free Art classes that will offered at U.L. by art education majors for high school aged home schoolers . These teachers may be graduate students or undergraduate students. The classes are to offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3-5 PM. Home School Swimming Clinic
When:October 12th-16th
Monday through Friday 12:15-1:15 Daily (Each class will be 45 minutes in the water instruction and 15 minutes of play and dry land instruction.)
What:A chance for you to come out and learn more about the sport of swimming and what swim team is all about. You do not have to have any prior swimming experience to participate.
Who:All home school swimmer ages 4 through 18 that are comfortable in the water and want to learn more about the sport of swimming.
Clinic Costs:The cost will be $10 per swimmer. Multiple swimmer discounts will apply.

Ages: 2and ½ and up

Tuesday, October 6th through Thursday, October 29th
Lessons are $110 for the first swimmer and $100 for the second.
One Time Lessons$15 registration fee which includes goggles.
Option Two
Sunday Evening- Once a Week Lessons
5 lessons
Ages: 2and ½ and up

October 18th, 25th, November 1st, 8th, 15
Lessons are $70 for the first swimmer and $60 for the second.
One Time Lessons $15 registration fee which includes goggles.
